Meet Skye Downey, M.S., LMHC

Welcome! I’m Skye Downey, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 5 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges and transitions. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of North Florida and am licensed in the state of Florida.

My passion lies in working with students, athletes, and young adults who are navigating the unique pressures of academic performance, athletic competition, and major life changes. Having witnessed firsthand the mental health challenges faced by the student-athlete community, I’m deeply motivated to provide compassionate, practical support to help students and athletes break the stigma of working on their mental health.

I believe that seeking therapy is a sign of strength, not weakness. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and work toward your personal goals in a collaborative setting. I offer virtual-only therapy through a HIPPA complaint platform to be able to offer flexibility and accessibility to clients in the state of Florida.
